SikDuo = Chris Moody and Dj Riz
Additional production by Louis Bastion
PACHA NYC residents SikDuo aka Chris Moody and Dj Riz are back with a huge new single entitled “BOOM”. With its driving Electro House sound and a halftime breakdown, “BOOM” clearly lives up to its name. In it, SikDuo samples LL Cool J’s 1995 hit “Mama Said Knock You Out”, taking LL’s memorable vocals and molding them around their own original production giving the song a classic touch to its modern sound. With their last single “BIG” recently added to rotation on Sirius/XM’s BPM, it won’t be long before “BOOM” follows its lead and is heard in clubs around the world.
About SikDuo :-
SikDuo came to fruition in 2011 when DJ culture pioneer DJ Riz (Crooklyn Clan) and NYC house music prodigy Chris Moody joined forces to release their massive bootleg of Boney M’s “Daddy Cool”. Since then, the two longtime friends have been aggressively working in the studio crafting and honing SikDuo’s sound. The duo highlights the unlimited potential that can be found when you bring two successful Producer/DJs from two different backgrounds together, combining their skills, experiences, perspectives to create a sound that is bigger, more unique, and ready to spread on a global scale. Already garnering early support from the likes of Roger Sanchez, Chuckie, Bon Sinclar, Laidback Luke, Nari & Milani, David Guetta, Erick Morillo and many others, the duo plans to unleash their sound in a big way this coming spring with a plethora of upcoming releases meant to move the dance-floor globally.
