This month, NYC hip-hop artist Orrin is releasing four new singles–one a week during the month of December. Originally the tracks were recorded for the LP, Nocturnal, but they didn’t make the final cut.
“They tell part of the story of Nocturnal though,” . “‘Lorkine’, was left out because I felt like the vibe was too dark.” The song details the end of the fictional love escapade in Nocturnal, describing the feelings he was left with and the frustration Orrin felt with the object of his desire.
“Lorkine” is my most experimental song to date,” adds Orrin, “it details the end of the story and is an alternate version to the fictional relationship I created for the music.”
